Enquiries

An enquiry is a message for the seller, not a booking. POST /v1/public/enquiries takes three kinds:

kind For Needs
product A question about one trip product_id
planner A holiday-planner request: dates, travellers, interests
contact A message from the contact page

Each needs name, email and message. Add phone, date_from, date_to, travellers, special_needs and interests when they help, and locale so the reply can be in the traveller’s language.

"reference": "EQ-3F2A1"
}
  • Show the reference to the traveller, e.g. “Your question’s reference is EQ-3F2A1”.
  • On a marketplace, a question about a trip goes to that trip’s seller.
  • Keep a field named website in your form, hidden from people, and send it as you got it. Bots fill it in; the API then answers as usual but keeps nothing, and id and reference are null.
  • A trip whose price is “ask the seller” (from_price null) is a good place for a product enquiry.
